Nadia contacted me a few weeks ago and requested that I write a reference for her. My contact with Nadia is listed here. I did indeed provide a reference for her and I am extremely pleased that the charges have been dropped.
Nadia is linked with the tragic case of the wonderfully eccentric Maurice Kirk who was freed recently. My intervention in Maurice's case was quite simple. Maurice had been held in a mental hospital and the psychiatrist at the time pointed out that Maurice had bad handwriting and therefore this showed he had a mental illness. This high watermark did not stand the test .
I wrote to the CQC head honchos citing that if bad handwriting is the high water mark then every doctor is mentally ill. This is because historically doctors are famed for their bad hand writing. A week later, Maurice was freed from the institution and represented himself in court. All charges were subsequently dropped against him as the jury found him innocent. Here is Mr Kirk in fine fettle following his victory.
No doubt given the flamboyant characters of both these individuals, they will get into more trouble sooner or later. It is though fantastic that they have both defeated the police force who attempted to harass them. I should thank everyone who supported them especially Paul Talbot Jenkins and the very flamboyant pensioner and war veteran Norman Scarth. These are the people that colour the world and these people worked tirelessly for their friends. I am honored to have been of some minor assistance. Just goes to show that with a few ideas, a few friends and the ability to fight together, anything can be achieved.
No doubt the parcels in the post will continue for me :).
