So on the 11th December 2008 - we are off to party at his favourite place. The most important thing to the old man was having fun. So the key is to gather tons of rasmalais, samosas, biriyani and to live it up. He would hate anyone to be miserable just because he stepped into another phase of physics. I think thats what he called it - stepping into another form to accept fate. The main issue about this post is that he would hate being called the "old man" because he was well into digital technology while in his 70s. A few days before he died he said " Hey at least, I am not going to die with grey hair or hair dye. That Nashef has more grey hair than me and we know why."

Breakfast
The above is the old man's favourite sketch. I think many people assume everyone mopes on death anniversaries. We tend to remember the favourite things of that person. My dads favourite was the above sketch. He used to watch the above in the oncall rooms when he was working in the NHS. The above sketch was one of his favourites. It is a rare but hilarious sketch and as my dad used to say - they don't make comedy the way they used to. Quite right too.

I shared this one with you a few years ago but it was my Dad's favourite so I thought I would share it again

Dad used to walk around the house singing it with his public school boy accent.
Memories are important. There are things that I still remember and strange things I still do. A few weeks ago I was in a supermarket and I saw something that he used to love eating (but I dont like) so I bought it and have put it on the shelf with his picture. That day it was like coming home and saying "look what I found at the supermarket for you"
