During my own investigations of North Staffordshire NHS Trust, it was discovered that their compensation was about three times that of Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust. I wrote the
piece here and quoted some figures from Hansard. To match this data, I recently found a surprising admission from the CQC. This is the beauty of FOIAs. What is said to your face isn't necessarily what is said internally.
Chris
Sherlaw-Johnson who is the Surveillance Manager at the Care Quality Commission stated as follows [ Email from him to Sarah
Seaholme dated 9
th December 2009] at 13.15.
"Earlier data from Dr Foster does suggest that they did have more concerning mortality in years before 2003/4".
Chris then went onto do the usual "
We beg to differ with Dr Foster"The question of course is this - what was the data regarding Dr Foster and why has it been concealed from me [ as usual] :). Not for long though eh.
Hope the conceited lot at the
GMC are reading this.
