Following a email to Mike [ a rude one at that] plus a feature on
Ward 87, Hospital Doctor was forced to back down on what it had originally written [ without checking its facts].
This is the
article everyone was looking at . This was the original sentence quoted
here."The Remedy judicial review being heard on 11 May could drive a coach and horses through the meaning of serious professional misconduct, and the meaning of unfitness to practice"
The current sentence is as follows.
"The Remedy judicial review being heard on 11 May could drive a coach and horses through the meaning of misconduct, and the meaning of unfitness to practice"
That was a subtle edit that went under the radar :). The point I am making here is this, all those who write on Hospital Doctor are led by Mike Broad but were unable to understand the difference between SPM and misconduct. When it was pointed out to them, instead of thanking that person, they subtly changed it so that no one would laugh at their incompetence. Mike often prides himself in having a more reliable source of information than us common bloggers. Well, he missed that particular error.
We shouldn't rub it in though. We should just highlight one of many errors. Imagine Mike having to admit that he was wrong and that some of us just knew that little bit more.
