The Times states
"Asha, a neurologist who was born in Jordan and worked at a hospital in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, was arrested on the M6 motorway in Cheshire later on June 30"
The Times also reported what was apparently done.
The BBC gives us more details on Mohammed Asha.
There is further material on Wikipaedia.
His colleagues at North Staffordshire NHS Trust told the world what a " brilliant man he was". The Trust has not whispered a word about him hoping that the matter will disappear in a puff of smoke. Just to say that North Staffordshire NHS Trusts treats terrorists with more respect than whistleblowers. Has anyone asked the question - what IT system was he using? What has the Trust done to prevent any further terrorism within the Trust. Well, ruining British junior whistleblower's careers by circulating rubbish in their name, they can be seen here to be fine tuning and honing the skills of an alleged terrorist. Sorry - he was a "Neurologist" but clearly didn't have enough brain power to understand the nature of his actions. According to his colleagues at North Staffordshire NHS Trust, he is still a "brilliant neurologist". Not brilliant enough to avoid getting caught clearly.
All discussions on these subjects were removed sometime ago on a Doctors Only Forum. This was to prevent any further circulation of rumours that he had a premier doctors only email address and was using it to coordinate his activities.
