Prof Gillian Needham Seeks Petty Revenge

Gillian Needham Ties Up Her Male Doctors.
Dr Sean Connery has been kept out of work
so long that his beard has grown grey.

Following a number of anonymous emails, it seems that our Scottish SpR Dr Sean Connery is still suspended. One email stated :-

"He is still suspended, despite local advice to reinstate, regionally needham has blocked his return. The local disciplinary committee and LNC recommended no action to be taken against him, but the deanery has continued the suspension"

The other email was sent by a rather dashing young thing. There is always something about a man in disguise. As I say, I am simply destined to speak with shadows. That is fine, as long as the information floats in. I have absolutely no problems with dashing young male doctors as everyone knows.

My problem lies with old Gillian. Jobbing Doctor has the right idea of course.

"Toughen up, ladies. If you want to lord it over the profession from your marble halls, then be prepared to accept criticism. You should be spending your time getting the mistakes of MMC and MTAS corrected, rather than indulging in a vendetta against a lowly trainee"

Someone this week suggested I was sexist. I agree, I probably am. This is what I said about the different types of women

1. Those who think they are better than men. They are the sharp suited kind
2. Those who are better than men but don't have to show off
3. Those who take the place of men and think they can do the job properly.
4. Those of us who are totally cool :)
5. Those who are downtrodden types

Paice and Needham come in at a number 3. Of course, no man can say this because men would be accused of sexism but I can. In fact, I can say a lot of things that are rather blunt.

For Needham, she likes the control. Controlling a man despite the fact he is a trainee is probably giving her a sense of power. For a lady [??] who has lost all her power - internet wide, I suspect this is the last leg of her revenge.

And women do know about petty revenge don't they? Gillian wants to punish Dr Connery until he can take no more. For get legality :). What Gillian wants Gillian gets. It is called " abuse of power". Thats what Deans do especially those unable to do their job properly.

Perhaps Gillian requires some anger management.

Rather difficult to sing if she has a green complexion.

Gillian's rather OTT reaction to the out of hours activities of a junior doctor is rather surprising. Perhaps we can understand Elizabeth Paice a little because she is just a despot. Gillian though is becoming odder and more bizarre as time floats on. Perhaps she likes being seen as an oppressive despot, who knows.

Anyway, as I have won about 2 Rule 12 applications at the GMC ,I currently have about 4 doctors in there, 1 who had a warning, I have Professor Rod Griffiths on a Rule 12 again, I have the GMC coming up to a judicial review with me, I saw no harm in penning a short missive to the GMC while eating chocolate cake this Friday. In my view, the GMC can make themselves useful.

In the old days, I was fairly good at physics so perhaps for every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. I didn't think there was any point in pussy footing around and talking about referrals to the GMC. As no other doctor can do this safely, I did. As Dr Sean Connery is due to have a complaint against his name forever at the Deanery, there is no harm done if the two Deans had complaints registered forever against their names. It is all about data retention afterall. The sort of things both deans campaigned for. It is only fair that they are subjected to the identical treatment in the interests of equality.

Paice and Needham know about this. I hope they all have a lovely weekend. I know, I shall! :)
