In September 2008 I wrote a piece that was removed by Dr Shrine Boardman. Dr Grumble has featured some interesting material about the Computer Misuse Act. I though did some digging a long time back and begged Broadman to use the information in her defence and not back down to the Trust. She didn't wish to listen. I cringed when she apologised. What is it with doctors these days. Has it escaped their minds that an apology in the legal sense means an admission of extensive liability and an apology for the GMC gives them ammo to hit the doctor where it hurts No on learns this lesson. It is as if the Trust will say "boo" and the doctor will start to grovel. It is this grovelling, I don't understand. I have never grovelled to any Trust -ever. Self respect is worth everything.

Anyhow, here is the link to my previous material. As Dr Grumble points out, the Trust should look more closely at Computer Misuse Act 1990. Indeed, it is a criminal offence and perhaps the local police should look more closely at their actions. The Trust advocated the sharing of smart cards. As Dr Grumble points out the interesting warning about sharing smart cards.

Witchdoctor and Jobbing Doctor admirably feature the ongoings at South Warwickshire NHS Trust. I have little to say on this save for the fact that I saw it coming, warned the good doctor involved who failed to listen opting to do a Frank Sinatra and do it her way. I understand that most people would criticise me for being so blunt. But some doctors really don't see their emergency situation and do what all normal doctors do - they assume that by being " good" the Trust will " see the light" and fail to understand that the Trust isn't human or logical or rational. Once they develop a vendetta, they execute it.

She has bigger battles ahead of her. These battles aren't meant for victims. I suggest she stops being one and starts fighting back before the real emergency happens and she is taken off the GMC Register. She should look at the GMC's decision on David Southall related to data protection. This finding at the Trust isn't going to assist her with GMC Towers and that was my fear. Then you cannot force people to see or fight, you can only tell them how to do it.

If there is an emergency, this is one. With the level of backing she has including Gordon the consultant, each of them should take a long hard look at themselves and consider whether their tame methodology is working. I cannot see it working at all. The time for the blogging onslaught has passed.

It is time Dr Boardman realised and understood that the Trust is a dysfunctional one who will not listen to logic. Those who do not listen to logic need to be made to listen. I suggested a few months ago that the good doctor bring the Trusts own substandard data protection record into her defence. She felt this was inappropriate, opting to be reasonable and soft with the Trust. Witchdoctor points out that the good doctor deals with a lot of emergencies, well this is one and no one seems to see it.

As for the Dr Boardman's patients, they could have done better than they already did. These tame polite interviews within the local isn't enough. They need to mount a national campaign. Raj Mattu did it, I can't see why Dr Broadman's support team can't. It is time to mobilise the masses and to fight back consistently not to be a meek little wallflower, hoping that someone will come and save you.

I suggest the group [ plus the Doctors only website] get their proverbial act together in this issue before its too late because this situation is spiralling out of control and the good doctor will soon find herself in an uncontrollable vortex.

That will be an uncontrollable vortex of no return. There is still a window of time but soon it will have passed just like the last window of time.
