BLOGHOUNDS

I came across Bloghounds sometime ago. They hold the blog of someone who tried to kill themselves not so long ago. I felt that was rather open minded and generous of them. Essentially, Bloghounds is a minor clique of socially inept people who haven't achieved very much in the world apart from the ability to judge others on their own narrow world view and standards.

I say this because I just love studying human behaviour on the internet. It is the price of being an ex shrink and one who is fairly good at cyberpsychology. Their group is much like masonry or Scientology or Christianity. Coming across it amused me in general. Little groups created on the internet who judge others by their overinflated standards. It is a bit like a modelling contest. You either conform to their rather drab world or you don't. That is interesting because reviews such as that are always open to prejudice. Reviews without protocols or directives is always open to bias. That's just the basics of law but I shouldn't go on about law books here because no one bothers to read them, not even lawyers.

Of course, much like a school clique on a side of a playground they can judge others as better or worse than them. This is a kind of club mentality. A mentality that accepts a smaller world with views that do not go past their front door. It gives each of them a certain amount of satisfaction to judge and to be powerful. The sort of power they wouldn't get in their normal lives. Everyone needs to feel important in their lives in a way. The voting is apparently done anonymously so everyone can have their secrets :) and feel a little powerful in their own way. The question they are asked " Do you want this person to belong to our club" :).

I would say this sort of issue isn't the Barack Obama's way of making friends and influencing people :) but then this is the UK and the UK isn't about making friends and creating democratic y, it is about building cliques and clubs. Then again, small minds always make small decisions. Actually, really clever people actually remain open minded and generous about different views and different worlds.

I actually wanted to write about the above picture which is sported by Bloghounds before I got distracted by human behaviour patterns. It contains a hound dog in front of a fast moving fan. This in turn advocates a fan next to a dog. Everyone knows the latest guidance on animals by the RSPCA and DEFRA. Perhaps Bloghounds hasn't read it yet. Indeed, a week ago, the RSPCA stated that owners should not place clothes on their dog.

The issue here of course is that a fan is extremely dangerous for a dog. Anyone who is a dog owner knows this fact. I am of the view that bloghounds really should not go around sporting the above and encouraging effective cruelty against animals. It is clear that bloghounds really don't care much for animal rights and continues sporting their muskerhound. In any case, if there should be a fan next to a dog, it shouldn't be there without supervision. Perhaps I am the only one who has heard of a dog who was very hurt due to its ownslaught with a fan.

So in summary, I think people should aim for a vote in The Times Best Websites. After you have achieved that, bloghounds really does seem unimportant or irrelevant but it is always worth a study in human clique behavior online and the distinct lack of open mindedness once people feel they "belong".

Oh, I believe the above logo should be dumped before a dog gets hurt by a fast moving fan. For avoidance of doubt, Bloghounds themselves will be unhappy with this review but at least I am open, transparent, not secretive and terribly honest. In any case, one good turn deserves another. I could of course cross link this to Nhsexposed.com and encourage the Google listings but that would be cruelty to animals as well :).

PS I sincerely hope each of the reviewers do get admitted into an NHS Hospital at some point in their lives and of course the average statistics tell us that 50 percent of them will die of neglect. of some sort. Well, all good things come to those who wait.

You said, "Then again, small minds always make small decisions."

Had these small-minded people in Bloghounds actually voted to accept you as a member, rather than rejecting you, they would still have been small minds making small decisions.

Had this happened and you became a Bloghound member you would have become one of them: a small mind making small decisions.

But then, that you have written such a childish and hurt post, indicates that you are already a small mind making small decisions.

Well done, Rita.

I suspect your own mind is rather microscopic :)

:( Actually, most probably don't comprehend the art of lampooning and a "test case" :)

Ooh!

This is so typical of many in psychiatry: attach a label with no formal diagnosis and bandy this about to demean another.

Go back to your original post. You slag a group - and the individuals within it - which you wanted to join. Why? Because for their own individual reasons - whatever they may be - they chose not to invite you.

Call it an sociological experiment :) I was asked to do it, I did and I wrote about it. It is very very simple. It is a study on cybergrouping, much like clubbing, freemasonry and scientology.

I couldn't care less whether I was accepted or not. I simply tested it. I test a lot of things including the GMC. In any case, traffic is minimal from Bloghounds to any site. There would be no advantage or disadvantage to joining it. Just have bigger fish to fry :).

Sorry to disappoint. I really am. Many will know I test out various groups on the net to examine behaviour patterns.

Its no big deal. One post for a pitiful group site that are so insecure they can't identify themselves :).

You wouldn't know a sociological experiment if it landed on your head.

You say, " I just love studying human behaviour on the internet.".

The only behaviour into which you give an insight is your own. Your own prejudices are on display and not those whom you criticise.

Keep going if you want to reveal even more.
